You know, It seems to me that every other country out there who can not stand the US should be laughing their heads off. We have become so liberated that the Freedoms we have taken for granted are diminishing.
You can not pray without dirty looks
You can not hold an American Flag without offending others
You can not sing the Star Spangled Banner without getting knocked over the head
just some examples of what I'm thinking.
What do you think, Do you feel that we have become to liberated to the point that the outside world comes before our own citizens, and what I mean by this is that their feelings comes before our own. Let us not offened anyone, so we bend the laws and the rules to suit those who do not agree with our Freedoms?

It seems like our "country" has been going downhill since the sixties, when "prayer" was banned from the school, when "affirmative acton" started being used for jobs and education, when immigrants can get social security at the drop of a hat, and a person that has been putting money in to the system since they started working, has to be disabled for a whole year before they can get any benefits.
When I have to take drugs, commit a crime, or try to commit suicide, before I can get mental health help for depression. When it is the norm or justified to be a criminal, something is very wrong with our country.
I don't know what is wrong with our country, but it is going downhill fast.
"WHAT IS "WRONG" IS "RIGHT".
"WHAT IS "RIGHT" IS WRONG".

I guess our country has become too PC. I've actually never thought twice about the word God being in the pledge of allegiance or on money but, it seems to offend those who don't believe God exists. Personally, I wouldn't care if money had a potato on it, as long as I can spend it, it's fine. I understand there is suppose to be seperation of church and state but to me, those are just words. If you don't believe it in and you say it, it doesn't mean a thing. Let it go. I don't agree with Affirmative Action being a horrible program. The theory is great but sometimes it is abused and racists jump on that which makes me sick. In a perfect world we would judge someone on the content of their character instead of the color of their skin but, this ain't a perfect world and SOME people need federal guidelines so others can get some sort of opportunity in this world. I really think more people should just live and let live. If what someone else believes doesn't come into your home and really affect your life, why cry about it? If anything, that is what is wrong with this country. Too many people are worried what others are doing instead of making sure all their ducks are in a row.

Yes we do. A minority in the US can rule the country. Look at how much huhaha the Gay community has turned up by wanting to be legally married... I am not saying I don't think they should.. I am just saying it is very easy for a small percentage of our national population to cause the whole dang country to get in an uproar.
One of our "Favored Trade" countries is with China. Let other countries do some of the Human Rights Violations that China does... the US Govt gets all bent out of shape. But China can do it. Ha. But there are American children going to bed hungry tonight.. Republicans say there are no hungry people in America. Yeah right.

Let me add to that list. They've become so preoccupied with "keeping us healthy" that they've banned Teewurst because instead of being 'fully cooked', it's just smoked. It's a petty thing, but while they're at it, they might as well ban beef for not being cooked. Tomorrow it may even be cigarettes. I'm not a smoker, but you might as well quit since they don't allow you to smoke them anywhere. I hope I find out who's responsible for all this "protect each other and their feelings" bull*****. By the time they're done protecting us, there'll be nothing left to live for.

That's one of the many factors of our applauding with glee as our government slowly becomes a Regime of Nazi/Fascist little wee-wee, balding, insignificant Siths. Another would be Big Brother's little brother: the ever-lying News/Media conditioning of our brains. Another would be our po-dunk Public Education System. There are many more factors as we kiss our freedom goodbye with bad breath and lots of saliva.....
