How can I cool an apartment bedroom with a portable AC? I am not allowed to dangle anything outside the window or main door. Summer high temps outside average 75-80 degrees, sometimes 90 degrees.

If you are not allowed to hang anything out the window, you can't use a portable "spot cooler".
The hot condenser air is vented off of the top through a flex hose.
If you leave it venting in your apt., it will actually get hotter in there. It has to be vented outside.

They make a 'portable unit' that is normally on casters so it can be moved easily. It does require you to 'empty' the water from the holding container daily.
Sorry but I dont remember the brand name but they are availble.
