I would've thought of him as a bigger man if he had walked away from the fight in the first place, but to better address your question if he was "fronting" and talking a lot of trash then got beat up, I would think less of him in a sense, but if he is not ashamed of losing, accepts, and is not looking for revenge or a rematch he is pretty okay in my eyes, it shows a lot to accept something that you may not have wanted to
