I think Clover is a perfectly beautiful name, but I'd be willing to bet that the natural nickname of Chloe will be what most of her friends actually call her.

I REALLY like Vash, for some reason - it sounds kind of Russian or Slavic to me, and I have an admiration for those cultures.

Unlike what some other people have said, I don't see either of these names as being particularly schoolyard ridicule-worthy. I say go for it - there's something to be said for being a little different.

You asked for my opinion, so here goes:
First of all, if you have to identify if the name is for a boy or for a girl because we can't tell by looking, that would be a no from me to start.
Second, Clover sounds like a cow's name. I think she would be teased this way--Clover the Cow, moo...
Vash, sounds like Gash, or Stash. He'd be teased as well.

Every child is special and unique in his or her own right...a name does not make them any more special or unique. Why not make your kids early years just a little easier by giving them more traditional names? Like Matthew or Ashley? You don't want your kids singled out because their names are so outrageous...

BUT, these are your kids and it is your right to name them whatever names you want. You asked for opinions here and that is obviously what you are getting. I have a very traditional name myself, and I like it...I would HATE having the name Clover.

What country do you live in? I have never heard of these names. Sounds like something you have made up off the top of your head. MHO

It's not really important what I think about them but you should remember--no matter how cute you may think they are it's your kids who will have to live with them for the rest of their lives. How do you think THEY'LL get along with them?

It is not my personal taste but it is your child so it is what you like-not everyone likes the name I have picked out for my son but oh well.

No, sorry I just don't like any of them. I can't imagine what it would be like to be named Clover.

Good Luck!

These are not American names so maybe these are common in your country. I don't care for either of them.
