I am a boy. My mind is always frustrated due to various reasons (most of them being depressing thoughts from the past). I have a girl who is my best friend. I love her very much. Thought I am cool most of the time but when I become angry on her, I lose control and abuse her verbally and hurt her a lot. When I am back to my senses, I feel guilty. I have already done it twice. Day before yesterday I did it for the third time and I really used very nasty words. She won't ever talk to me again. :( I read about anger management from net. I understood that I need help.

Should I meet a psychologist? Is there any good one in Bangalore, India?

Is there anything else I can do to control my behaviour during anger? Any good online resources to learn?

I have explained her everything and earnestly apologized. Is there anything I can do to get my friend back? Any girl here who can suggest me something? I really love her and I don't want to lose her. She is the nicest friend I ever had in my life.

You need to force yourself to walk away. Walk away, breathe, try to calm yourself down. If your friend does forgive you, inform her that you have a problem controlling your anger and because you love her you don't want to verbally wound her anymore. Let her know that if you feel your anger rising you will need to leave her presence for a few minutes and that she needs to let you be alone to cool off, this way she will understand and won't be offended if you leave her abruptly. And you probably should talk to someone. Sudden bursts of anger in a teenage boy might be normal at times, and can probably be blamed on hormones, but if there are things on your mind, wounds from the past that need to be healed, you need to discuss it with someone. It doesn't necessarily have to be a psychologist. A licensed counselor or a pastor or other clergyman could be a helpful person to talk to. Good luck to you.

You have too much pitta. See an Ayurvedic physician for herbs and dietary and lifestyle recommendations. And yes do yoga.
