If you go to the iTunes store and look at their Essentials, they have one that is for waking up in the morning. I don't know what it is called but you could find it. You don't have to necessarily buy them on iTunes but get the idea of some songs.
Off the top of my head, Beautiful Day by U2. (That's on that one) It reminds me of waking up in Europe.

I like a song in the morning that starts out mellow, with a good melodic hook and then builds into a great song that you can sing along to. It really depends on the type of music you like. My favorites are "Here comes the Sun" by the Beatles, "Jesus, Etc." by Wilco, "Wish you where here" by Pink Floyd, and "Dark Star" Live Dead Version by the Grateful Dead.

hip hop= usher-nice and slow, alana davis-32 flavors, mary j blige-no more drama, TLC- just about any of them
rock- Creed-higher, metallica-nothing else matters, limp bizket-break stuff
classic rock- poison- alice cooper, higher-damn yankees, cherry pie-warrant
