It's good for the money you paid, I just don't like the video card , it's weak.

Hope you don't play video games.

If you bought it brand new, then I'd say it wasn't the worst deal out there. However, it is a bit on the high side if it was purchased within the last 4-5 months. For that price, it should have come with at least a 120GB drive and a faster CPU.

But it's still a nice one, don't get me wrong. The newer Core 2 Duo is what's hot now. Battery life has been improved significantly over the older Core Duo, and a 1.6GHz Core 2 outperforms a 3.0GHz Pentium 4 or D with ease.

It's a great machine, however I would have sprung for a Core 2 Duo processor instead. That would have bumped up the price quite a bit, though. Pretty decent video card on the laptop too, great for multimedia and pictures and light-moderate gaming. You got a pretty decent price on it too.

Go to www.Cnet.com and punch in your computer stats. They have excellent rating boards and comments so if your computer sucks you'll find out quick.

Given your stats, everything seems fine except the memory is so minimal that only time will tell if it will keep up with all your media files (comp. crashing at worst)- you may have to upgrade that. Oh yea, how many fans does it have? That's the worst on my laptop and it overheats easy.

Not a bad price. An AMD processor might have been cheaper. Good video card and hard drive though.
