Any tips on getting this guy that I like to like me back? His personality: fun, humorous, semi-popular, a little bit of an ego, smart, but not in a nerdy way. Any ways to impress him? Any and all help would be appreciated. Please keep in mind that I am in eighth grade though.

Be yourself because you cannot force him to like you. It will only work out if it was meant to be.
But maybe you should put yourself out there, and make an effort to talk to him. Ask him about his opinion about a teacher or school assignment, those are easy conversation starters.

Why are you asking this in the FRIENDS section, you are only in the 8th grade, stop fantasizing and learn to grow up, I never even gave games like that a thought, i know love will come, but it's not likely in the 8th grade. No, i'm not ugly or fat or anything, just rather decent and different than most people (being 15 and happy to be homescholled is not exactly normal, the 8 years i spent in public school were murder). Just do what you can within the lines of decency, but if you get your heart broken, it's probly your own fault.

Hormones kicking in just make sur e that your grades re good and stay focus on education boys will come later but if you really like him ask him to help you with some school work show interest there and see what follow .

Don't. You're too young for that. Focus on school and don't let guys.......(clears throat).....boys ruin your academic career. You might think he is good looking and stuff but c'mon, he's not THE ONE. Relationships in middle school and high school add up to failure and they're too much of a distraction. Too much drama and you're too young to be dealing with it and putting your homework aside to handle it. Keep your mind straight and don't be pressured to get into relationships. Besides you're a girl and guys are supposed to come to you. So just be patient and don't force it. Peace.

read many books so that you become very intelligent and able to defend yourself against all the tricks imanigable, and talk to mom and dad, they will always prefer you honesty and trust
