Star Trek XI (2008) will be written by Joss (Buffy) Whedon. Don't know about any new stuff, but why didn't they pick up on the fact that there are Temporal Laws? Captain Archer fought in a Temporal Cold War in Enterprise and Seven of Nine was sent into the past to capture Captain Braxton in Future's End.
They could have a Star Trek show that deals with Time Travel.
Just a thought...

If you were truly "Q", then you could have anything you want happen. Why don't you just alter reality and come up with more Star Trek series yourself?

Doesn't surprise me. It's been around forever and people watch anything with Star Trek. If I was show producer I won't even bother to do anything and just have bunch of people walk around in stupid outfit. People will still watch it.
