Both options will add up to the same cost. Here is how:

The cost of going to the movies is:
7 * 120 = 840

The cost of buying the DVD player and renting DVDs is:
4 * 120 = 480
Add the cost of the DVD player
480 + 360 = 840

Good luck.

If you you go to theater you should pay :
7*120 dollars = 840

and buying a DVD player and renting movies costs you the same. see below :
360 = 3*120 so :
360 + 4*120 = 7*120 = 840

Was it clear?

OK the cost of seeing 120 movies at $7 will be $840, now to watch the dvd you have to spen $360 then add $480 for the dvd movies rented. they both equal $840 so they are the same thing. No more, no less. Hope that helped. =)

Well, what is the cost of each?

For the theater, multiply the number of movies (120 movies) by price per movie ($7 / movie).

For renting, you do the same thing (with a different cost) but also need to buy the DVD player.

any of that two choices you can apply...
why?
because it has the same price....
first you have to multiply the cost of seeing movie $7 to 120 movies...
the equivalent of that is $840,im i rigth?
then second, you have to multiply again the renting movie to use on the dvd player which is $4 to 120 movies ....
the equivalent of that is $480 then add the costs of the dvd player you bougth....$480 add to $360 is equal to 840?????
dont make it so hard because its just an easy question????
you have to analized the problem step by step .....
im i enough this help of your question????

just a lil helper here wouldnt you multiply 120 to 7 dollars which is 840 i think
then you have 360 dallars from tha dvd and 4 multiply to 120 is 480 added to the 360 from tha player is 840 as well

So its the same crap not to mention you would have to wait for the movie to come out

Or you could by them bootleg for like 3 bucks before they come out that would be best i think

Let t be the number of times you're going to see the movie.

c is the cost.

For the theatre;

c = 7t

For your DvD player

c = 4t + 360

Get it?

Going 2 the theatre would be more expensive. If u buy your own player, you could watch as many as u want as many times as u want!
