The clean plates light is staying on with my Oreck aircleaner even after cleaning. Any suggestions?

Is there any way to fix it myself or anyone that would service it in western Canada.

Try a warm solution of 1 part vinegar, 5 parts water too clean it.
Then let it dry completely....
