Do bands like My Chemical Romance write their own music?

Like, do they make everything by themselves? The lyrics, the meaning of the song, the outfits, etc etc.

Or do they just tell someone what they want and they do the song making?

In terms of music (lyrics, meanings, etc.) yes they do that all themselves. But the outfits and stuff like that is done by someone else, and the band just tells them roughly what they want it to look like.

LOL,they dress like that on there own,Lottsa skeletons in that closet.They are record label puppets,label brings in back up singers,shows them the song structures.They are the labels hole n the mattress since the label has sank so much money into the band and Fall Out Boy is in the same boat.I see many people in high debt sometime soon...

It would not fairly count number to me. it truly is compared to someone says "caution: excellent right here artist did not write this music!" earlier I listen a music, so how am I meant to entice close? could I study an artist earlier listening to their songs to substantiate they write their own stuff? that is letting some thing except how the music sounds impression what i imagine of it, it truly is dumb in my opinion. i imagine that those who artwork in the music field could do regardless of makes them chuffed, or regardless of they do superb (whichever they prefer). some anybody is large lyricists yet poor musicians/vocalists, some are large musicians yet poor lyricists, some are large at taking portion of their device yet poor at transforming into music, and so on. no human being's suitable. i do not care what the music meant to whoever wrote it, truly, i do not fairly care who wrote or finished it. see you later because it does some thing for me, see you later as /I/ like it, that is all that concerns to me. egocentric per chance, oh nicely. i do not pay interest to music for people.

I'm not sure about "bands like My Chemical Romance", but I know for sure that My Chem. does do all of their stuff for themselves. Their style, lyrics, music, all of it.

cant talk for the otha bands 'like' my chem, but i kno that my chem do all their own lyrics and music. obv they get advice etc from producers n stuff, but its their ideas
far as the outfits go, agen idk for otha bands but gerard (lead singer of mcr) designed all the outfits n characters featured in their record 'the black parade'. like someone sed ^ i dont reckon the guys wud be that good wit a needle n thread for the practical side, but theyre their own designs.

Tey write the lyrics, the costumes are made for them. I really doubt that Gerard and frank could sew...But they do make alll the songs and that stuff.

Costuming and sets are almost always done by a third party and not by the band members themselves.
