2.1x - 2.58 = 1.26 - 4.3x
add 2.58 to both sides and you get:
2.1x = 1.26 - 4.3x + 2.58
add 4.3x to both sides and you get:
2.1x + 4.3x = 1.26 + 2.58
simplify and you get:
6.4x = 3.84
divide both sides by 6.4 and you get:
x= 0.6

2x + 6 < x+9
sutract x from both sides and you get:
x + 6 < 9
subtract 6 from both sides and you get
x < 3

I'm glad I've solved your homework problems for you.

2.1x + 4.3x = 1.26 + 2.58
6.4x = 3.84
on further simplification,
x = 0.6

2x + 6 < x + 9
subtract x on both sides, if any subtractions, the inequality symbol changes.
so,
x + 6 > 9
sub 6 on both sides and once again symbol changes
x < 3

2.1x - 2.58= 1.26 - 4.3x

2.1x = 3.84 + 4.3x

6.4x = 3.84

x=0.6

2x + 6 < x + 9

2x < x + 3

x < 3

Multiply the first by 100
210X -258 = 126 - 430X;
X = 3/5

2X + 6 < X+9;
2X-X < 9 - 6;
X < 3;
