do you ever sit back and laugh at society because of the whole notion of "famous" and "important" people. we're all a bunch of creatures who don't know what the hell we are, what we're doing here, and just work and go to school because we're told to.

I think fame is one of the downfalls of our society. All the media is forcefeeding us these images of these so-called celebrities and making us feel inadequate in our own selves. Do we really want to be like Britney because she's famous? What about Lindsay or Paris? Come on... A lot of people are just as you say, creatures who work because we're told to, go to school becasue we're told to, live the lives that we are told to. The world is huge, and there are so many things to experience. Being unique, using your mind, heart, and soul is what's important.

This universe is almost never-ending, I believe there are other life forms out there. If it is possible for us to exist, why isn't is possible for others to exist also? We don't have the technology to go past our own solar system, so how do we know for sure there aren't more planets with more "people" out there. I find it very interesting that just as we look up into the night sky onto other planets, that someone else could be looking down on us right now.

I think about questions like this too much. Im wonderin y life is the way it is as far as y we go to work, y we act the way we do and y r we here? How did we come to where we are now?

Some people say read the bible. Others say ask a scientist.

I think there is plenty of life outside of earth. Look at the Universe. It has to be more out there than us.

We havent even explored the whole sea yet.

How can someone say that we are the only beings here???

Yeah it is foolish. People try so hard to fill the need for happiness through good and services, but in the end it does help. All the need to find some inner peace is to help others, but they ingore the thought of it.
I think that there is other life out there. The unvirse is so vast why should we see are selfs as being alone in it. I think that possible that there are really alien life forms that walk amongs other everyday. We just don't notice because the act and talk just as we do. Maybe the even inner mated with are race already.

I wonder about that nearly every day. Indeed, what good will it do to write a pulitzer prize-winning novel, or discover a cure for cancer, or anything else if we can't figure out how to treat each other well and take care of the earth? I don't know if there is extraterrestrial life, but it's certainly a possibility, though I doubt it's more developed than bacteria.

I know who I am and it has nothing to do with notions of being famous or whether I go to school or just work. It has do do with how I perceive Self.

I have those same thoughts sometimes. I've come to the realization that we are just shards of existence.
As for so called important people ( the selfish ) bored with their own existence hinder people from discovering who they are because it benefits them.
I could go on and on, but I think I'm talking to someone who gets the idea
