i pressed and held A but it didn't work, i presses left then held A but it didn't work. who knows the answer?

OMG i'm such a dumb_@ss, i spent 2 hours trying to get past that stupid overgrown talking rock. iron boots, i should've known. lol

You need the iron boots from the mayor of ordon talk to him and get them and learn how to sumo wrestle. then come back equip them and hitting A will toss him aside.

Get the Iron Boots from Bo in Ordon Village. Make sure that you talk to Renado before you leave, though. I have the Wii version, and they're the same, except for the fact that they are mirrored. Once you have the Iron Boots, equip them and climb up the wall. The Goron will charge, and it may not work the first time, but press A like always, and try to hold on. You will have to repeat many times over the course of Death Mountain, so start practicing. Hope this helps!
