when I took nutrition classes in college, it was suggested that a 5'0" woman should weigh 100 lbs, and add 5 lbs for each inch thereafter.
So:a 5'4 woman should weigh about 120 lbs.
(** for men, start @ 106 lbs for 5'0", and add 6 lbs for ea. inch after that)
If you have a small frame, subtract 10%.
If you have a large frame, add 10%.
To find out your frame: take your middle finger and thumb of your right hand, and wrap it gently around the smallest part of your wrist on your left hand.
If your finger and thumb overlap: small frame
if they just touch: regular frame (add/subtract nothing)
if they do not meet: large frame.
Please also keep in mind that these are just guidelines. If you are very athletic, you will have greater muscle mass, and therefore weigh more.
Two women @ 5'4 can both weight 130 lbs, one can look like a slob and one can look ripped as hell.
Forget about numbers and ask yourself how your clothes fit.

Man, you're not fat at all. Crazy. I'm 5'4" and like 150 or something ridiculous.
I'm such a glutton and a sucker for food of all kinds. It's the joy of my life. I had a craving for this gross deli crab salad today and am eating some now.
What I could really go for ... mashed potatoes and gravy, deviled eggs, possibly a brownie. Or Jack Daniel's salmon at Friday's.

Your not fat. I am 5'3 and 113 lbs. I dont think I'm fat, but i feel that i am not happy with my body, i want a flat tummy and abs. I love food too, but i like to run on a treadmill, or even bike ride, i do at least 60 crunches a day ( i didn't yesterday cuz my back hurt). But your not fat, but there is always room for improvement.

It sounds like you are right within the suggested healthy weight range for your height. If you are concerned a bit of exercise would not hurt, everyone needs to be healthy and fit regardless of size, and there is nothing wrong with liking food, food rocks!

no, you're not fat! you're skinny, you don't need to lose weight, the usual. But yes, I love food more than anything. Life is all about food, food=life, lives revolve around food practically, it determines dates and moods and feelings and so on.
