In my opinion it's the natural cycle of the earth, she goes through periods of extremes. Many that mankind has not witnessed. She will adjust her temperature one way or another. Be it by melting the ice caps or violent winds.
Scientists have warned about global warming and the peril that mankind is facing. The Earth isn't concerned about it because she will do what's necessary to regulate her temperature and if it means that the inhabitants will die then that's what will happen.
Most people don't think of the Earth as a living entity but she is and just like any other creature she will 'fight' to stay alive.
I wouldn't worry too much about the abnormal weather and just start doing what it takes to help her stay healthy and stop abusing our only planet.

The "whether" is "abmornal" because too many of us are unwilling to accept the seasons, the tides, the wind, the rain.We run from life and are sad without knowing that we are running or sad.Accept that You will die and you may learn what it is to live.

Would you please explain ABMORNAL. Actually I heard the El Nino is rearing his ugly head once again, out in the Pacific Ocean, and is going to wreak havoc on all of the weather systems in the country. Supposed to be warmer overall than the last several years. Damn El Nino.

I am GAY and believe in God. I also believe in the Revelations.
There is suppose to be a period where the seasons will be out of tune and you can't distinguish them prior to the return of Jesus Christ. Yes Global Warming may be a factor but it is a view in scripture of this seasonal abnormality.

And more violent? It could be because the earth is beginning to change again, just like it did last time we had an ice age.

why is this posted in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered section?
could be a normal cyclic pattern but I believe it has to do with the greater amount of CO2 gas in the atmosphere... aka greenhouse gases
