i work with a friend and there is a employee telling me stuff about her. it's just sounds so good it doesn't sound anywhere near a lie. i wouldn't believe that she would do something like that that but the plot of the story all matches up.
today i acted a little strange around her knowing what i kno and she asked me what's wrong and i told her i am disappointed from what i heard about her. i didn't tell her who but should i just tell her what he said which could possibly be a lie and
create a fight between her and the employee or
should i just keep my mouth shut and wait until it dies down

First of all you said you work "with a friend". It does not sound like you are a good friend at all, if you started treate dher badly without even giving her the benefit of the doubt, or, asking her about what was said before telling her how disappointed you were. In the workplace, gossip happens, and you should always take what people say lightly.
You shoul apologize to your frined for being rude, and ask her about what you heard. I would suggest also letting her know what bully at the job is trying to cause her a problem, so she can deal with it herself.

If this is a friend of urs u need to come clean and tell her what u've been hearing. U probabaly don't have to say who has been telling you these things since she will probably know who, if it is true.
Just let her know what you've been hearing, but no name calling. tell her that you don't want to cause any probs between her and ther person by saying who it was, but that you are concerned about her

you already told her your dissapointed in her so she already knows you geard something whether its a lie or not, ask her! if your friends with her dont beat around the bush because when it all comes out in the end your gonna be the fool who didnt tell your friend what someone was saying behind her back and she wont trust you or probably speak with you

You would take the word of a gossip monger? Be a man and just ask her if what you heard was true...if it has something to do with work.If not it has nothing to do with work and it shouldn't be discussed at all.
