We dated for a year before we're engaged. We got married a week after engagement. We've been married for 2 years now and still very much into each other, hopefully this lasts for a long long time.

My husband and l dated for 2 years before we married. He did not believe in engagements at the time so that was that. I did get an engagement ring with my wedding band though. We have been married now for just over 30 yrs, 3 children and 6 grandchildren later we are still together and work on keeping it happy for both of us.

Well, let's see; I met my wife in June, we got engaged in December, and married the next March--so that's what, 10 months. Not a record for me either way. First wife met in May, married in September. Too quick! Second wife dated (more or less lived with) 2 years, broke up, found grass was so green elsewhere after 5 months, engaged for three months, finally married. Should have kept mowing the grass. Ha!

My lover and I 'dated' for about 3 weeks then he moved in with me. We got engaged about a year later although we were commited to eachother before that point and set a wedding date for about two to two and a half years after that. We're so busy! We consider ourselves already married. It's just the legal stuff and the party that is on the way. Our wedding is in 2008.

My fiancee and I had been dating about 3 months when we started talking about getting married. Unfortunately he is currently in Korea (he is in the Air Force) and we will not be able to get married until atleast December '07, but we will probably wait a little longer than that. If I could marry him right now I defintiely would though. It's good to know that someone in a similar situation as mine is happy in their marriage. Congratulations!
