Yes, Flint IS really that bad. There are no jobs, high crime, crappy weather, and boarded up crack houses everywhere. And the roads are Horrible! Everyone that lives there is trying to get OUT of Flint. The apartments are cheap but you get what you pay for. If you are going to move to the Flint area, I suggest that you move to a suburb just outside of Flint such as Davison, Flushing or Grand Blanc.

I am in the process of leaving Flint, DO NOT COME TO FLINT! IT"S REALLY THAT BAD.
There was a time when it was great, auto factory jobs were easy and everyone worked there and made great money and retired happy. When Buick left Flint, flint litterally died. It's very dangerous in many parts of town.

HAHA! cedarpktx is right.
umm. i wouldnt ggo. but you can move into a nice subarb of Detroit. Like sterling heights, royal oak, rochester, troy. it would be like only a two hour drive.
i have a cottage four hours from the subarbs. its not that bad. the drive. so im sure you can handle two.
