what?
you are 31 weeks pregnant and the doctor told you it is ok to lay on your belly?--umm I think it's time for a new doctor.
that can very well hurt the baby, especially now-you are in your 3rd trimester.

I havent heard anything about cuts or scabs--but pregnancy does different things to every woman.
it could be the extra hormones made your scalp more dry and you scratch it without knowing it.

I do not agree with some of the people that have answered.

You can have a period while pregnant. But I never have heard of anyone having it in there third trimester. Not saying it cant not be so.

My friend layed on her belly to sleep till 34 weeks. So that is also possible. And he doctor never told her not to. Man I sure couldn't.

As for the scabs are you scratching your head because your nervous? Scratches do not appear without trama. Have others watch you to see if yu are scratching without you thinking about it.

As for false neg in a pg test. Heck yes, had 3 before i took a blood test to find out that i was.

Good luck

Well, I'm not really an expert on pregnancy, but I have known people who are pregnant and don't look like it for some time. I've been told that it depends on the size of your pelvic bone. If it's wide, the baby doesn't show as much because there is a lot of space for him to lie in. If you have questions, you should go to your OBGYN and if your not satisfied, find another opinion. The period thing is completly normal.

P.S. You should go to the discoveryhealth (www.discoveryhealth.com) site and click on the pregnancy and parenting tab and send an email to Dr. Richard Schwarz.

If you're still having periods, i have my doubts that you are actually pregnant. The fact that ur pregnancy was confirmed by ultrasounds also makes it a little bit weird. But if it really was confirmed, then you should be pretty sure you are pregnant, and avoid sex until delivery because having a baby while carrying another is probably not very good for your body...

Are you absolutely sure you are pregnant?

At 31 weeks you should be a reasonably big size and would not be able to sleep on your belly. It would be very uncomfortable. Have you felt the baby kicking?

And, if you are getting your period it sounds as though something is not quite right there. I would want a second opinion.
