I bought a 1999 Pontiac Sunfire that had a 2.2 in it. I need a motor for it and I'm having trouble finding one. What other cars would have compatible motors them (besides cavaliers) ?

Anyone that tells you 2.2 or 2200 Will be Cav and Sun Only with no change... 98 99 and 1st part of 2000
S10 is rear wheel drive. It will work but you have to change the intake system and Look at the flywheel bolts and starter. 1997 98 99 2000
NO 2.4 DOHC No EcoTec...

Any smaller GM car or truck that had a 4 cyl. option would have this type of motor. These motors are everywhere. Contact your local wrecker and he can get one as these guys are connected to wreckers all over.
