Most guys usually just pierce their left ear at first. When I did, I only had the one earring for about six months.

My girlfriend convinced me to pierce my right ear; I wore a diamond stud in each for about a year, then I changed to a silver hoop in each & totally loving it.

Start off with a simple earring in the right plain or diamond stud & go from there. It's very intimidating at first when you want to pierce your ear. My suggestion is to get it done & enjoy it after you do it. I stressed for a long time before I did it & now I totally love having them.

Good Luck!!!!

whichever one you want. Some people say that one ear or the other means you are gay. But that is just a lame thing, things like that don't mean anything and most people don't believe that. But you can really pierce any ear you want, there are no traditions.

it`s either they pierce the LEFT ear ALONE, or they pierce both ears. it`s said that if a guy pierces only his right ear, then he`s repping gay pride.

Typically it's the left ear if you're a straight man, if you're not it really doesn't matter!!

i don't think both ears looks bad... i think it looks good.

Left --> straight
Right --> gay
Both --> no definition. it doesn't necessarily mean you're gay.
