What is the best quality the higher the carat or the lower? ie:14k vs 18k 18k vs 24k

The higher the carat the better. Carat is just a measurement of the element. 24k gold would be the best and 18k second, etc. etc.

I would suggest 18k. Simply because it's purer than 14k and its better than 24k in both price and practicality. The higher the grade of gold the softer the metal tends to be.

The higher the kt. the better it is supposed to be, also more expensive. I think 14kt. gold is great quality.
