you can start leaking orangish-yelowy colored colostrum early in your pregnancy, around 20 weeks... You can wake up in the middle of the night with a soaked shirt, or it may just be a drop here and there.
It is normal to leak, and it's also normal to not leak, so don't stress over it if you do or don't!
your body is just gearing up to have your baby :)
Good luck!
Oh, and leukorrhea that the person above me mentioned leaks from down below, not the nipples! lol

You may be able to squirt a few drops in the latter stages, and you may even leak, but colostrum and then milk don't really kick in until after the birth.
Interesting fact though. There have been cases of babies being breastfed by adopted mothers or even by grandmothers. The fact is hormones in pregnancy makes it more or less automatic but with loads of stimulation, hormone tablets etc. it is possible. Actually to go even further I heard about a study which said in principle men could do. Can you imagine it?

Usually your milk wont come in until you have had the baby. But I started leaking colostrum in my 3rd or 4th month all the way up 'till delivery... Some days worse than others. If you are worried call your doc!

colostrum is the pre-milk you leak out before birth and for a couple days before your milk comes in. It is different for everyone. I started leaking at about 25 weeks!

colostrum is what you get before you start producing milk that can normally start from after your 4th month but you only actually get milk after the baby is born as soon as the baby starts to drink from you it produces milk the more they suck the more milk you produce. Good Luck with the pregnancy ;)

No need to wait till baby born, my friend leaked from around 16 weeks pregnant and had to buy washable breast pads throughout her pregnancy, we were pregnant at same time and I thought I wouldn't beable to breastfeed as it wasn't happening to me. In the end I breastfed She didn't she was so sick of leaky rockcake boobs it got her down:o)
