well my son is now 2 yrs old and he's been around our dog since he was born and now he barks and pants.....

idk, yeah I think so. Freud always talks about how things like that influenced people, but he failed to mention dogs and older siblings as he had none during those critical years. He was a coddled child raised by old adults in an apartment, so parents really were the main influence for him. My first dog taught me how to walk and I did end up developing his personality. A dog is like a sibling though, they're raised by the same people so of course they'll develop a similar personality no matter what.

I growl when ever I am mad or frustrated. My mom said I learned how to do this because of the cats we had when we were little would fight over a piece of meat or the milk bowl. So yes children can pick up traits from animals

Mine have been around dogs starting at an early age and there is none of that coming from my children. They may growl now and then, but that is it.

My youngest son still lifts his leg to this day. We broke him from sniffing crotches though.....
