look you fool-- you can't file your taxes without a W-2.
Try doing your own taxes online with Turbo tax once you get your W-2's and any 1099 forms you need and file yourself. It walks you through step by step and you can file electronically. It will take about 2-3 weeks to get your refund, there is no fee other than what you paid for TurboTax which is about $30.

Do you have an Adjusted Gross Income of $52,000 or less?
Do you have a bank account?
If both of these are true then my best advice is to wait until the 16th and do a Free File with TurboTax online and have them pay your refund with direct deposit. You will get the money in 9-14 days. For FREE. So you will get all the money you are owed by the end of the month! TurboTax is so easy ANYONE can do it they walk you through it with baby steps asking you questions to determine what you need to fill out.
Don't pay the dumb fees for preparation, filing, and god forbid a loan! That is just like giving your money away!
****EDIT: I just read the heading that it says "Home > Business & Finance > Taxes > Australia & New Zealand" I was talking about US taxes... not another country! Sorry.

the requirements that H&R Block has are pretty standard and are used by other tax firms across the board. you might be able to find some shady company that will give you a loan but at a ridiculous interest rate.
next to the tax refund loan, the quickest thing is filing online and you can have a direct deposit into your account as soon as the refund is processed.
but like any other thing you really need, you gotta shop around.

If H&R Block will not do your refund with your last paystub, you will not find anyone willing to most likely. Did you work for more than one company? That may be your problem. If you are working for the same company as last year, you could file online with the numbers from your last paystub. You will need the company tax # & that would be on last year's W-2. I would recommend waiting for W-2 but that is because I am an accountant & numbers are my thing. LOL
