In love marriage, if you married without parents support, they never help you out when you both fight for some small reason. And while people are in love, they tell lots of lies to impress eachother. But finally the truth is relived after marriage and becomes a tough sutiation and fighting begins. Parents says it is you both got married why should we need now. Sometimes parents might help.
But in case of arranged marriages, if there is a fight or misunderstanding , parents and relatives there to talk and make the couples to understand or give some time. In both sides there is a support for a life to go and make the couples to be together somehow.

Not all arranged marrriage is successful for so many reasons. Marriage should begin with a relationship...and relationship should begin with mutual understanding and feeling towards each other therefore you should know the person first...build some kind of relationship ( have feelings towards that person) and usually...it begins with an interest to that person in order to build a relationship. Arranged marriage..as far as I know ( as the word define) is basically someone is doing the arrangement for you ...as most likely...the person you're arranged to is a stranger. Personally, I wouldn't want an arranged marriage....it's bypassing my right to decide and feel for myself.

Marriage is hard enough to work @ when your in love with someone, marrying through cultural or religious act's is crazy.
It is hard enough making it work with someone you really love. But arranged marriages are a cultural/religious act are now becoming out dated as the world is changing so are the people who want more of a say in WHAT they wish not what there families wish.
But saying that the divorce rate is just as bad, and in some countries they just wave there hands say one word over x 3 and your divorced, other countries u can just tear up the paper hey presto.

any marriage whether arranged or love unless the partners takes pains to make it work its not going to last. in arranged marriages if there r any problems between the couple the family from both sides try to help out and solve it. that's the advantage of arranged marriages. even the couple try to adjust not to hurt their parents or for the society sake only to a certain limit.if the relationship is abusive then its going to end anyway.

It is a fact that arranged marriages are more successful.
Look at our parents or grand parents, all was arranged for them. in some cases the couple have not met before.
This is a trust that when marriages are made , the person/s who arranges such marriages ensure the needs e.g. religion, caste, education, age etc... are taken in to consideration.
Parents of such couples also makes sure of the needs of the bride & bridegroom and goes to matchmakers with the neccessary details.

When u compare the percentage, more arranged marriages are success and more love marraiages are failure.
Reasons:
Love marriages are the decisions on illusions and made in hurry.
Arranged marriages are decided on the strong grounds and the support of all the elders and relatives, friends etc., which lacks in love marriages.
