Each DVD will have a unique barcode on it that identifies that DVD with you, the borrower.
It's the same reason libraries and places like Blockbuster know...they don't need to see your ID to check it in. Just throw the books or videos in the box, and you are all set. Same thing.

There is a barcode on the DVD Sleeve. It can tell that DVD was sent by you.

each dvd has a barcode on it if ull notice they dont no it was sent by u but they know ur dvd was sent back and thats all they care about

the company sends u prepaid postage envelopes (to return dvd's) that have ur acct info on them

They scan the barcode on the envelope when it's received back, and it has your account info on it.

They Dont. You can turn the movie in at any mailbox. Also they scan the movie when they recieve it.
