I developed diabetes with my first child about 3 years ago. Diabetes runs in my family, so I was checked at 14 weeks and was off the charts. I took regular insulin 3x a day and NPH (the long-acting) 2x a day for the remainder of the pregnancy. As long as your bloog sugar remains under control, your baby shouldn't be any bigger. My son was 7 lbs 1 oz. He needed a tiny bit of sugar water right after he was born, but from then on he was perfect! My blood sugar went back to normal for a while after my son was born, but a few months later I was officially diabetic. i have been on oral medication since then, until getting pregnant a second time. I am now 33 weeks along, and have been back on insulin since as soon as I found out I was pregnant (3 weeks). My numbers have been great, and my baby is the right size.
If diabetes doesn't run on your family, you will probably not be diabetic after the birth like I was. However, you should keep in mind that your chances of developing diabetes in 5-10 years is much higher now. You should continue to have your blood sugar checked out at least once a year from now on.
Good luck!! The insulin sucks, but your baby is worth every shot and every counted carb!!

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.
I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

While I was pregnant I was diagnosed with gestional diabetes but I didn't have to take insulin. I did however have to go in twice a week after meals to have my blood drawn and be monitored for the sugar levels. I also had to quit eating anything with sugar or high carbs. My girl was 6.5lbs and health as a horse. No sugar water or anything else. Good luck with the baby.

I had to take insulin with my last baby and he had to be monitored for 24 hours after birth becuase his blood sugar was so low from the insulin shots. He was fine after a few feedings. I only had to take the shots once a day though so I can't imagine how low it would have been for him if I had to take it more.
