Unless the "someone" is a relative or close friend, and you know the executor(man) or executrix (woman), usually a spouse, who had oversight of the will for benificiaries, you may not be able to get a copy of the will. Not all wills go through probate court, if there is a simple distribution to family beneficiaries, and not contested, there may be no need to settle in probate court.
