I have his SS# along with his new wifes SS#, but can't seem to find anything legitimate online without having to spend money. Is there a legitimate way to get info for free?

I would talk to the child support unit..they can (if they will ) track him down... If not u may have to hire an attorney.. there are several free legal places. If that child is on any sort of govt programs (medicaid, food stamps, etc. ) they will find him.. wish I knew more.. My baby's father split when I got pregnant and my son was 3 before I rec. a dime. Unfortunately if he's a dead beat, he may be doing like my son's father and working for cash so it can't be traced.. GL

Yep, go to a district attorney if he is not paying child support. That is the best and probably only legal way. They will do all the work for you and get him to pay child support when they find him. Social services may be able to help you too

Contact the Attorney General's office in your state. They are suppose to locate dead beat dads and collect child support from them, wherever the dead beat dad is!

Get a friend to call his relatives, call his last employer & pretend to be checking references. Last resort, apply for food stamps & welfare.

talk to your local child support agency - they have many many resources. they can put out a warrant for him no matter what state and they can also screw with his driver's license...all states reciprocate driver license information now... good luck and i hope you get the jerk. ones like those make a bad name for others.

nope.. if this is a real story you'd get a lawyer.
if he's a dead beat.... then you can get a lawyer and have them find him and garnish his wages.
