Not a pitch option play, however, the Falcons do have a QB Choice play in which Vick can run it or give it to the RB.

I don't think that it is and I can see why: You rarely see NFL teams run the option anymore. Maybe as an occasional trick play but almost never. The defenses in the NFL are too fast and too smart for the option to work on a regular basis.
John Madden himself demands that the game should reflect real NFL football as much as possible to putting an option play in would work against his idea.

no, i dont think so. i have been playing it for like 6 years and have played the latest edition and never have a seen an option in the play book or seen the other team run one. Thats why i like NCAA better.
