I know a lot of people that are gay and I don't have a problem with them. But why do so many people have a problem with it and not a good reason?

hey! im at your house right now. but anyway back to the question......uhm, as you know im not against it or hae nay problems with it. people need to be happy. and if this is one way that they are, then we need to live with it. yea, people are going to have different opinions.....but they should realize that people are going to be gay whether they like it or not. and plus....if someone is completly against gays...what are they going to do if they have have kids and one or more turn out to be gay? what about if their parents get divorced because one of them is gay? are they going to say i hate you get away from me? but i am for it because people need to be free and have their own personal lives. but i hope this answers the question. and ill see you in a minute! hey...just to let you know im kinda hungry again. supper was good though. and thanks for lettin me sleepover tonite!!!

Personally I don't have any problems with the gay community. I have a gay friend and I've never had a problem working with any of them. It's just their lifestyle that I don't approve of. No before everyone starts saying that I'm wrong for thinking the way that I do just listen to my argument. I am Christian above anything else, now I'm not overly religious, but the bible does state that homosexuality is wrong. Now I have two choices 1) I can choose to follow what God says or 2) I can choose not to listen to God's word to please the homosexual community. Those who claim to be real Christians tend to go with option #1. Now I'm not saying gays are bad people, I know for a fact that I am far from perfect. Gays or just like staright folks, some good and some are bad. Its just I to go with what the Bible says.

Now to discuss gay marriages. Personally I'm against it. But if I had to vote on the matter, I would choose for gays to have the right to get married. The reason being not everyone shares in my beliefs and it would be wrong to force that on someone else. If I was a Preacher or a Judge, I wouldn't proform the ceremony. But if gays could find someone who would, so be it. That would be between God and who ever performed the ceremony. I'll always respect the person, just not the lifestyle.

because they feel it is wrong what the gay one is doing! some men hate them because they are so girly and should be a man. I myself think that it is there own business about there sex life and who they are with! it's there own life and the choose to live it the way the choose it! and others choose there own way! no one should be judged or disliked based on there sex life! it's their business and their life and that's it! And I'm not gay, but i know of people who are gay, and they are always nice and friendly people. Why not base how you feel about a person on how that person treats you and others and not there sex lives!

I have friends who are gay and we are in agreement that it's not something I want to hear about. It is not acceptable to my Christian walk through life. I love my friends but I do not like their choice to be gay because I sincerely believe it's a sin. HOWEVER, we're all sinners and it's not my task to judge them nor theirs to judge me. I have had gay women hit on me and it made me very uncomfortable. That's one thing people have a problem with and I feel it's a valid complaint. Another thing that causes people to have a problem is the marching, the public expressions (kissing, etc) that we really don't want our children to see, the apparent need to publicize their gayness. That's offensive! I don't do it; I don't want to watch others do private things in public either. And I do insist on maintaining my right to say so!

folks are scared of different. It was not very long ago that folks were all abuzz about the blacks....it was against god and all that garbage. Well, the law took care of that, and so now it is the gays. what do you think it will be in another 50 years? Hey...sounds like a good post!

People are set in their old ways. They are ignorant to other people's point of view. Instead of learning about Gay people, they'd rather criticize them simply because they don't understand them.

I am in no way homosexual but I have plenty of friends that are. I have to say I think it is something that occurs naturally, otherwise why would we see it in animals as well? No one taught them to be gay, it just occurs. We need to learn to accept it whether we like it or not.

I do not hate them. But I hate what they as a group want to get through as LAW and that is the MAN LOVE BOYS legislature. Those of you that just want to say "oh I'm not bothered" That is either because you agree with them, or because you do not have a clue as to what they are working toward. And do not say "oh my friend is not interested in thet" Makes no diff., the group he has joined sympathy with does want it and is working toward it. Then there would be no PEDOPHILES it would be legal. Small minded is those who do not study what they say they agree with.

People fear things they don't understand. It says more about the hater than the person they are hating. More education and experience is needed.

I have no problems with them, and most that do (coughFredPhelpscough) are guys that are scared they might be gay. Them and uber-religious people that think its wrong because that's what their book tells them.
