Any two computers using the same internet connection will always share bandwidth, but you will not notice any difference for general internet use as long as you have some kind of broadband.
You only get into noticable slowdowns with this when
1. you have several computers on a relatively slow broadband connection (ie four computers on a 512k connection) or
2. you are downloading large files (movies etc) onto any of your computers.
