Things not to use:
Paper towels, solvents like ammonia and alcohol, Windex is bad for LCD screens because of the ammonia - which can damage the coating on the screen.
Things to use:
Micro fiber cloth, http://www.pixelclean.com works awesome and for the low cost, it lasts a long time. I clean my LCD TV and laptop screen w/ this product.

Distilled water - The type you use for ironing and a lint free cloth. dampen the cloth and Gently wipe the screen, do not press.
Mix a little cleaning alcohol 15% for a better cleaning agent
For most people the best solution is to go to a computer store and purchase a specialized cleaner.
More expensive then mixing your own but it lasts forever.

They make special electronics cleaning cloths...I think they are called magic something. They have them at walmart. They are completely dry but somehow they are charged to clean electronics. Mine was less than $2 and I got it in the check out line at walmart. I have also seen them at the dollar store. Please NEVER use water....even just a damp cloth...no no no!
