K, so I started my period around december 19-22nd (forgot exact date) and it was really light. It only lasted for a few days, and was pretty much over by right after xmas. So light, that I didnt really need to wear a pad. I thought this was weird since i'm usually pretty heavy. My cycles are usually regular, 31 days, except last night I had very light bleeding. This morning it went away. Now it's back to around the same time, and I'm having light bleeding again. My period shouldnt be for another week or so. I am sexually active and had sex December 8th-11th. I have had breast pain, and I'm very tired lately. I'm also a bit over-weight. I dont know whats going on with me.

Not a miscarriage. Miscarriages cause heavy bleeding and severe pain usually. There's a good chance you are pregnant. The first bleeding could have been implantation bleeding. (this occurs when a fertilized egg implants itself into the uterus.) The bleeding you are experiencing now could be spotting which also commonly occurs in pregnancy. Take a test and see what happens. If it shows negative wait another month. If next month the same thing then I'd make an appointment. Good Luck!

I've had similar situations . Last year that's when I thought I was pregnant. My period came for one day, then came back a day later. It was weird, but it might have to do with you sex in between your period. Like the days after you had your period and before your next one. If so think something else is wrong, see your doctor, but it's probably just you having sex that's causing it to shift around a bit, which is normal. You could get pregnant, so be careful with that.

Some times I have my period for a really long time and it's extremely light, like so light it's barely there, but it still was. So I went to my doctor and he said there was nothing wrong with it. Depending on ho old you are because I'm 16 and he said during teenage years it's very normal for periods to flucuate and be weird. I don't know if it's the same thing though.

You might be pregnant. You had sex at the end of your possibly fertile time. Some women (about one-third) spot around the time that their period is due when they are pregnant. This is due to implantation of a fertilized egg. I would go to the store and get an HPT. If it is negative, I wouldn't worry about it. If it is positive, then you obviously need to see a gyno. Even if it is negative and you have this problem next month, then I would go to a gyno anyway.

Good luck.

You might be pregnant. Go get a pregnancy test! That's always the best way to know what's going on with your body. If you arent pregnant, and your period is still acting funny, than go see a doctor. Good luck!

It could be alot of things. You might be pregant or you could be real stressed out. Being over weight can do things to a girl when it comes it her periods. maybe go for walks and shed a few pounds and not be streesed. You should go see a doc. good luck hun

How old are you? First of all because as you get older your periods can change. Ive gone3 months without getting it, then get it randomly for 1 month. Is there a posibility that you could be pregnant?

time to find out if the strip turns pink or not. go to the drugstore and buy a pregnancy test and then see a doc first chance you can get in. either way something is up and it needs looking into.

if your breasts are hurting, that's usually a sign that you're gonna have your period soon. I know my girlfriend would occassionally get really strange on her "schedule" and I'd be worried that she was pregnant, she never was, her body just had weird schedules sometimes.

get on birth control they regulate your period and keep you from squirting out a baby
