I suppose that some could think it COULD be seen as such. Any government is prone to corruption, and the bigger a government gets the more prone to corruption it is. That said, I do not believe that the U.S. as a nation is in any way like Nazi Germany. We still have for the moment the right to keep and bear arms, regardless of how many times the liberals and the liberal courts try to take them away, much as Hitler did as a first step in gaining control of the people of his nation. We still have the right to assembly and speak our minds, regardless of how stupid we may make ourselves appear when we insist on doing so. Contrary to the conspiracy theorists out there, we are not an imperialist empire builder, invading nations so that we may reap all of their resources, instead we strive, as a people, to help where possible and this is perhaps our greatest problem. Don't get me wrong, I don't think that this is a perfect nation, and at times I feel as you do, but for the most part we are a nation divided by issues, united by freedom and the hopes and dreams that freedom supports.

um, how can u compare a country that allows all nationalities into itself as citizens to Nazi's?

Nazi's were racist and hated anyone not like them.

I think you were talking about another country.
If you want to compare a country to Nazi's go to a place where everyone is the same race and looks the same, such as
some of the Eastern countries.

Oh and by the way our president cannot ever become a dictator, since our laws produce term limits.

Our anti-gun laws (which are all unconstitutional) are patterned after the exact legislation that Hitler successfully employed in the 1930's when he said "our streets will be safer and our police more efficient."

I do think there is a valid comparison between the Hitler and G.W. Bush. Both can be said to have a charismatic leadership qualities and both are leading the masses into destruction.

It's obvious you don't know your world history or your US Government. Therefore, I will speak in terms you can understand:

BUSH NOT BAD. BUSH GOOD! BUSH SEND GOOD GUYS AFTER BAD TERRORISTS. PEOPLE AT HOME UNGREATFUL AND COMPLAIN. MAKE STUPID ARGUEMENTS.
