This is not intended to be an insult to you at all, but - honestly - if you are unaware that the president cannot run for a third term you may want to hold off on forming opinions about what was rigged or who seems desperate.
They can serve two terms, and that's its. He's in his second term.
In order to form opinions that are reasonable and have substance people have to have a certain amount of information and understanding about whatever it is they plan to form an opinion on. People without at least a basic understanding of how things work and what the facts are should hold off on forming opinions, because their opinions will not be based on solid information.
You can't make guesses about whether a person is "desperate" or not based on a speech or what he looks like either.
I'm not defending the president - just saying you shouldn't listen to other people's opinions. You should form your own - but you shouldn't form any until you have a better understanding of the facts and how things work.

Even if Bush could run again, he'd lose by a landslide. Bush lovers can give the rest of us all the thumbs down they want but it won't change the fact that the Democrats slaughtered the Republicans in the last election and they'll do the same thing in the next Presidential race.

I'd like to see you try to vote for him. Sweetheart, President Bush is referred to as a "lame duck" in political circles. That means he cannot run for president again. He has served all the terms he is allowed. The republicans will provide a candidate and the democrats will also provide one and the American public will vote. And be prepared for it to be very close again because studies show the country is evenly split when it comes to their political views. If you are old enough to vote and plan on voting, I hope you get a little more informed about politics than you are right now.

He can never run again for the President of the United States. Two terms is all he can do.

Nobody has managed to prove he rigged it ever. A lot of people, other than rabid liberals, think it was all sour grapes by said liberals. (I didn't vote for him either but am not going to whine for eight years)
He can't be reelected because he cannot run again. How he could possibly be desperate is beyond me in view of reality.
Hopefully, over the next two years the democrats will screw enough things up to get somebody competent elected.

George W cannot run again. But the fix is in. Hillary Clinton will be the first woman president. IF of course, Nancy P. doesn't get in first. How you ask? VP Cheney is very sick, he dies, she becomes VP. George W has got to be the #1 bad guy choice to do harm to. I'd hate to be on his secret service protection team.
Remember you heard it hear 1st. Hillary Clinton, madame president, 2008!

Ditto the other responses. As far as I'm concerned the fault G.W. got reelected lies on the Dems for the lame choices they gave us. If W is an idiot then what does that make that mumbler married to the ketchup queen. As for Hillary, God help us !No wonder the dems symbol is a jackass.

I'm wondering how you could be in school and never heard of term limits, i.e. the President can only serve two terms.

Term limits prevent him from running again. He is now just trying to save face (history will not speak well of him, and even HE knows it,) and keep Republicans from losing more power.
