i had sex a day or two before my actual ovulation day. i am on birth control but i havent had a period on it yet so i dont know if its working or not. i havent been feeling that great since the day i started ovulating(near the 14th day). my stomach has been feeling weird and ive felt kind of dizzy. would i have these symptoms already or is it just in my head?

It's not very common, but yes, you can have symptoms very early on. With my last pregnancy, I started feeling crampy and nauseous just a few days after ovulation - however, pregnancy-like symptoms wouldn't occur quite as early as the day you ovulated. True pregnancy symptoms won't occur until the fertilized egg has implanted in the uterus, which doesn't happen till several days past ovulation. Unfortunately, pregnancy symptoms can nearly always be attributed to other things as well - and since you're on birth control, I wouldn't worry too much about it at this point.

Good luck to you!

I started having symptoms about 5 or 6 days before my period.but I didn't realize they were symptoms at the time.I only realized they were symptoms in retrospect. I would say take a test if you don't get your period and go ahead and keep taking your pills. If you find out you are pregnant then stop. There is little scientific evidence that says Oral Contraceptives hurt the embryo. hth :)

It's possible, but if you haven't been pregnant before I'd say it's doubtful. You're probably getting your period now, early symptoms can feel the same (or you're getting a tummy bug!!!) Take a pregnancy test to see for sure

Some women say they have symptoms early - so it is possible.

I had a bout of sickness when I smelled some food and was only about 10 days pregnant.

Sometimes when you want it so bad you think you are experiencing symptoms that aren't really there.

It's probably just your b/c. Pregnancy symptoms don't usually appear until 4-6 weeks after you are actually pregnant.
