Ginger ale, sprite and crackers can work wonders. Try not to eat greasy foods late at night because this can aggravate your morning sickness. I am 10 weeks and 4 days and have found that this has worked very well. Sleep when you can. Your body, even though it has had a child is adjusting once again and it is perfectly natural to experience different symptoms in your second pregnancy. When you first wake up eat a dull snack such as crackers and this will help keep it at bay. Of course you may find something that works for you. If none of those worked for me, I ate pickles. *Lol* Go figure. The sour things make me less nauseated. Try things such as sprite or ginger ale. They might work for you.

My second pregnancy has been the same. The tiredness went away after I wasn't nauseous anymore and could keep down food, maybe it was just because i was already in second trimester. But it has come back even worse since 30 weeks. It's all part of being pregnant, only thing you can do is take care of your body. Eat properly, stay hydrated, and rest whenever you can. Especially later on in the pregnancy.

Congrats on being pregnant....I`m 12 weeks and I feel the same way some days, I have a 6 month old so some days I`m really drained!! Try getting out in the fresh air and going for a short walk to help with your energy...As far as feeling sick, try drinking some ginger ale...That`s what helps me...Good luck!!

very typical of the first trimester, though it varies, as it did with yours. there isn't a great deal you can do, other than eat healthily to try and give you more energy. by the second trimester, you should feel a lot better. i think the morning/allday sickness contributes to the tiredness. try some ginger/vitamin b for morning sickness, lemon (I used to drink soda water with lemon in it constantly), small and frequent meals and snacks. i know it is horrible, but in a few weeks you should have more energy and less morning sickness..... good luck, as least it means the baby is developing well as it is sucking away all your nutrients/energy etc!

Let me tell you...I know exactly how you feel. And this is normal, even though it didn't happen with your first pregnancy, your lucky. Each pregnancy is different, just like each baby is different. I was miserable for the first 3 months of my pregnancy. I literally slept all day long and threw up all day too. And now, at 36 weeks, its all starting up again. Exhausting, isn't it?

If I was a doctor, I would prescribe more multi vitamins, plus maybe some extra iron because your body is losing a lot of nutrients to develop your baby. Extra Potassium supplements may help too in order to produce more red blood cells, along with the iron, and carry more oxygen to your cells and brain, which help reduce the nausea that you are experiencing. Perhaps check with your doctor to see if this may be beneficial for your situation.

You will feel better in the second trimester until your stomach begins to get bigger and lying in bed is no longer comfortable. That began at 16 weeks for me! Once upon a time I slept on my back...not happening now, and the belly is heavy while sleeping on my side. Everyone tells me it prepares you for the sleep deprivation you will have after the baby is born!

Yep, 2nd timester you'll have heaps of energy. I'm nearly the same way along with my third. I combat the afternoon fatigue by taking my pregnancy vitamin with lunch. Gets me through to home time!!! Eat a littlle often for nausea. They say to eat/drink ginger. I don't like it, but found some relief eating ginger kisses.

Unfortunately there isn't alot you can really do except maybe take a catnap during the day if you can. Also, make sure you are getting enough iron. Pregnancy sometimes cause a woman to be anemic and it causes you to feel sleepy alot.
