Isosceles triangle
p=2l+b
A=1/2 bh
you have to get h by constructing 2 rt triangles. The leg will be the hypotenuse, b/2=1 leg & the other leg is the height
h=√(l^2-(b/2)^2)
A=1/2 * b*√(l^2+(b/2)^2)

Trapezoid
p= sum of the 4 sides.
A=(b1+b2)*h/2

A for isosoles tri is
(1/2 b x h)
b = base & h= the height of the tri.
P = side a + side b +side c = a + b + c

a of trapezoid is
[(b1 +b2) / 2] h
P = a + b + c + d + e

Triangle, A = 1/2 bh, P = sum of all lengths of vertices
Trapezoid, A = 1/2(b+b')h, P = sum of all four sides

A - area
P - perimeter
b - base
b' - upper side of trapezoid parallel to b
h - height perpendicular to base

iso area= base times height divided by 2

trapezoid area = base 1 + base 2 times height.. then divide the answer of that by 2

perimeter is just adding. there is no formula

isoceles triangle perimeter = sidea+sideb+sidec

isoceles area=(base x height)/2

trapezoid perimeter= side a+sideb+sidec+sided

trapezoid area=(base 1+base 2 x height)/2

hope this helps good luck =]

for the triangle:
A= .5bh b= base h=height
P= add all sides

trapezoid:
A= .5h(b1+b2) h= height b 1 and 2 = base one and two
P= Add all sides
