Ok i have my nose pirced and i usually wear studs. But i want to try a ring instead. I found some basic captive rings, but i need to know what diameter to get. I know the gauge, just need diameter. What do you think?

I would visit with a professional piercer - many of them will give you good advice without charging or trying to sell you something because many are good, caring people. Should you ever buy or pierce again you may consider going to that person for your new modification.

The diameter is the length by skill of the ring from one aspect to the different. The gauge is the thickness of the cord, or the section that truly is going by skill of your ear.
