you can have all those 'signs' & still not go into labor until your due date.
Im due any day now-- & the last 6 weeks have just been KILLER for me--I can find no relief in sight. they say that the last few weeks are worse than the first, lol--yah-I believe it.
good luck-just try to stay as comfy as you can.--
I assume you mean you havent had a solid stool in 2 days--try eating 2 bananas a day, that helps with loose stools.

Most likely your baby just "dropped"...and that generally occours a few weeks before labor begins. If the ultrasound tech didn't call the doctor immediately with concern, you should be fine. I am 36 weeks pregnant and have been into the trauma delivery rooms twice now for signs and symptoms of pre-term labor, all of which were nothing more than "normal" stuff that goes on in preparation for the big day. Also, when you are going to go into labor, your body will have a major bowel movement to make room for baby, so most likely your constipated from baby pushing on your colon (very common during the last trimester). I would say that you should be fine...but if your still in doubt don't hesitate to call the doctor.

I have had three kids so maybe I can answer. First, eat some fiber! I like Triscuts with cream cheese and salsa. Sounds weird but tastes good. If this is your first try to remember that labor could take a day or more. If the baby is low that is a good sign that you could be close but I'd be wondering more about whether or not you are dialated or effaced. You probably wont go into labor soon if you are not either one. As for feeling flu like I would talk to your doctor and maybe see him/her or ask if you can take anything. Good luck and dont worry you'll know when you are in labor!

I'd tell your OB about your pain but you can pretty much assume this is just normal pregnancy pain. The baby is sitting on your spine and putting a lot of pressure on it. Back pain is normal. It's also putting pressure on your bowels so that's pretty normal too. Hang in there, honey, you're in the home stretch! 8 more weeks and you'll be full term and ready to deliver a healthy baby! In the meantime, get a nice warm heating pad for your back. Maybe investing in a snuggle pillow would help too. They sell them at Babies R US (link below) and can be a LIFESAVER for that aching back! Best $50 I ever spent in my life and I didn't go a day without it. Bought it right around 30 weeks too when my back really started getting painful. Get some dried prunes and chill them (they actually taste good that way!) and eat a few. That will help with your bowels. Be sure you report your pains to the doc but in the meantime try some of the pain relief techniques. Congrats and best of luck to you momma!

At only thirty weeks, it's probably just being very uncomfortable, unless you've begun dilating and/or effacing as well. I hope the remainder of your pregnancy is more pleasant, and that your baby stays safely inside until s/he can develop a bit more. Good luck to you, and congrats on the coming baby!

I would call your OB either tonight or in the morning. They seem to be syptoms of early labor , your OB needs to check you & possibly start steroids for the babies lung development as the baby is not near ready to make its enterance. Best of Luck & take it easy!

When the baby dropped, it pushed on your bowels and other digestive organs and that's why you're having the problems you are. You should get more comfortable over the next few days.
