If so i think its because he does not want to hurt you. I mean at 35 weeks you're pretty big and it also might be uncomfortable. He's afraid of hurting the baby. I think its normal so dont worry about it. Remember you have to be stress free.

I can't speak for other men but my husband did not loose interest at all during any of my three pregnancies. The only reason l could think of as to why some men do is because they don't fully understand that sex will not harm your baby. In actual fact l have been told that sex stimulates you and your baby which has to be a good thing. Doesn't it ?? Well so l've been told, don't quote me on it though but if there are any concerns check with your GP.

I am a women but I know this one!!
Some men could, not because they dont find their wife attractive any more its more about the fact that you actually got a sensitive man.
Meaning it dosnt matter if this his child # 1 or #10 the man can actually feal insecure about what kind of dad hes gonna be will he be able to support a bigger family and will he have enuph time to show love to his wife very stressful on a man.

Probably he is only restraining himself from it, men have this thing about protecting their babies and wife. So take it as a good sign, if you are really worried about him not having any interest in you in bed try talking to him about it. Then ask you OB gyne for some advice on good position that you both can agree on and at the same time safe for you.

Some men lose interest the minute pregnant is mentioned. Others lose it later when we get "bigger" Sometimes they worry they will hurt you or the baby. I think it is normal, don't push the issue. Or suggest other positions he may feel more comfortable with.

When I was pregnant,my husband was so worried about hurting the baby. Of course I was over due and my dr was like have sex,but he wouldn't until after or son was born. I understand his reason for no sex,but at the same time it really sucked.

Maybe it is just a little uncomfortable with the bigger tummy. I know with my husband after that point it was uncomfortable for me too. Of course some men think they might hurt the baby, but that is just a falicy.

Mine personally did not loose interest at all. I think for him if anything he was sooo turned on that i wanted it so much when I was pregnant!! But I would understand if the man didn't want at that point until the baby was born.

Depends on the man - when your pregnant, a nice and considerate husband, as I had, would not want to do anything to hurt either the baby or his wife and would leave it up to his wife.

i never lost interest, although we would have to spoon because yeah, I didn't want to hurt the baby missionary style.
The bigger question is why do women lose interest when they get married and for years after the first child?
