I am just curious..what does everyone think about the Becks coming to America...most likely become popular here..
I've been 'bored of the becks' after living in England (well take that back, don't think I will become bored of David;)) .....

I agree ...I thought feel it's the money...and well America doesn't care too much about football...and well I prefer him in Europe...everywhere else does "soccer" better

I love that he is coming here personally.I'd like to see the game gain more support and become more popular.I fell in love with it over the summer but I have no way of really keeping up with any of it except the internet.Which stinks.
It seems few adults (I'm 17) seem to know who Beckham is lol.But everybody I told it to at school today knew who he was and thought that was awesome. So if it does begin to catch on,it will be among the younger crowd.I have this bad feeling though that it will be more of a temporary popularity if Beckham is the only one known.More players are going to have to step up and catch people's eyes to keep it going.

As a football (soccer) player, sooner or later you will be bored. His moment went through. Perhaps Beckhams becomes a Hollywood star. That will keep you entertained.

I think it's not his level, but it's a smart move to go to America rather than staying in Spain. It's not his time again. Many other players have brilliant crosses and free kicks. He doesn't have anymore to offer in football. So that his name won't be shining in America.

I'll watch about 10 minutes of his first match, then realize that I'm wasting my time watching mediocre football and switch back to the latest EPL match I'll have saved on my DVR.
