Both Use the desktop for home to go online. The laptop use on the go to watch movies and to have music.

Both. My parents bought the desktop for me casue i needed it for school and now they got me the laptop because the desktop caught a virus (my dad's fault) and they needed to take it to get it cleaned and i need a computer for school so now i have two although i only use the laptop now

I have a desktop only because it was convenient, but my next computer will be a laptop with a docking station. I want to have the convenience and portability of a laptop, but when I'm at home I want to be able to use my ergonomic keyboard, my stereo speakers and my HUGE flatscreen monitor.

Have both, but only use Laptop..... easier, I have a wireless netwok in my house, so I go wherever I want and surf the net.

i have both...desk top we got first a few years ago and i got a lapt top a few monthes ago..love the portability of the laptop and being able to be online from my back yard and while we travel
