y=3x-10

x-5(3x-10)=-6
x-15x+50=-6
-14x+50=-6
-14x=-56
x=4

y=3x-10
y=3(4)-10
y=12-10
y=2

From the second one, X=5Y-6

Putting this value in the first one gets you:

15Y-18-Y=10
or, 14Y = 28
or, Y = 2

So, X = 10-6 = 4
