You can't because the Sidekick II is a GSM phone on for t-mobile. However, you can unlock it and use it for Cingular because Cingular is a GSM. GSM basically means you use a sim card. U.S Cellular and Sprint run on a CDMA network. CDMA mean the phone has no sim card and you can only stick to that phone. So basiclly you can't use a CDMA network on a GSM phone.

You can if it is totally unlocked which means you can use it anywhere in the world and on any network. I have a sidekick 3 if you want it. It is brand new in the box. I can unlock it for you for $50. You won't find anyone else who has the software to do this!!!

It has to be a US Cellular phone or you will not be able to use it for a US Cellular service plan. Unlocked refers to GSM phones too and GSM phones are not compatable with US Cellular. GSM is used mainly by Cingular and Sprint or T-Mobile
