OMG.
My printer has the same problem!
I even got a new printer and it still did the same thing.
But they were both HP so it may be the brand.
I had a F300 series.

I'm not sure anymore.
I just leave the printer on all the time.
Sorry not much help

The most accurate answer would of course be that its a piece of crap. I normally scream and kick it across the room. This always works for me, but I end up buying a new printer in the end, and a cast for my foot. Not much I can help you with here other than what that other guy said.

The configuration of the printer is set to print the page. Change the settings in ther printer properties to stop this.
